A Newton County teen died Tuesday following a 4-wheeler accident.

Justin Johnson, 19, was riding a 4-wheeler on his property off Ga. Highway 212 when he wrecked, according to Newton County Sheriff's Lt. Tyrone Oliver. Johnson was able to make his way back to his home where he reportedly told his roommate that he thought he needed to go to the hospital.

At the hospital, while describing the accident to nurses, Johnson reportedly went into cardiac arrest and died as a result of blunt force injury, according to the medical examiner.
