All Newton County public schools will release students early on Friday, March 29 for teacher professional learning activities.

Elementary students and Newton County Theme School at Ficquett students will be dismissed at 11:15 a.m.; high school students will be released at 12:15 p.m. and middle school students are scheduled to depart at 1:15 p.m.

Lunch will be served before students are dismissed and all students who ride school buses home in the afternoons will be transported to their normal bus stops.

All schools and the central office will be closed the following week, April 1-5, for Spring Break. Schools will reopen on Monday, April 8.
