Deputy Jack Simpson celebrated his 91sth birthday this Fourth of July, and the Newton County Sheriff’s Office joined in the cheer Monday.
Sheriff Ezell Brown presided over the celebration, with NCSO employees joining in.
Dep. Simpson has been with the NCSO for more than 15 years. Prior to joining NCSO, Dep. Simpson spent 23 years as a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation
He entered law enforcement in the 1950’s and has been recognized as the oldest, certified, on duty peace officer in Georgia.
