A Covington woman reported a missing person after not seeing or hearing from her daughter for three and a half weeks.

Teresa Parker spoke with NCSO Deputy James McGilvray about her 26-year-old daughter, Latasha Shyrelle Parker. She stated in the report she had seen recent activity on her daughter’s bank account, including transactions made in Texas.

She said “her daughter just left and never came back,” stating she also is manic depressive.

McGilvray contacted the Covington probation office, where he was told the last contact involving Parker was about two weeks prior when the mother “advised them that her daughter moved out and she did not have a new address for her.”

Parker is described in the report as a 5’11”, 145-pound black female with black hair and brown eyes. She was not classified as being in danger. The case has been passed to Investigator Kevin Freeman.
