The teenage girl who went missing from Covington in May has been found, according to the Newton County Sheriff’s Office.

Jordan Marie Aaron, 14, was considered a juvenile runaway and was found safe in New Orleans, Monday, August 18, said Sgt. Cortney Morrison, NCSO public information officer. Aaron had last been seen May 15 at 11:30 p.m.
According to NCSO information, Aaron’s parents went to her room the morning of May 16 to find her and a red wheeled suitcase gone.

The New Orleans Police Department located Aaron and was responsible for transferring her back to her mother in

Newton County. The NOPD juvenile division was unable to give a report or further information.
