A 72-year-old man reported missing late last week was located safely at a family member's home in Waycross Sunday.

Jack McCarty went missing Thursday afternoon when he walked away from a home he was visiting with a person caregiver. He was next seen hours later on video surveillance at the Kroger store on Salem Road accompanied by three men. He was located two days later.

According to a press release from the Newton County Sheriff's Office, McCarty was doing "OK" and they were trying to ascertain how he got to Waycross.
