A group of men, armed with baseball bats and guns, forced their way into a Newton County home in The Silos around 10 p.m. Wednesday night.

The men were reportedly looking for a specific individual and when they realized that person was not in the home they left in three separate vehicles, smashing the windows out of a vehicle parked in the home’s driveway before going. No one was injured during the attack.

The vehicles could be described only by their colors — red, black and silver. The men wore bandanas covering their faces
