The Mansfield Spring Fling is being rescheduled because of expected rain and storms this weekend.

The event, which was to have an open car show and chili cook-off, was set for this Saturday, but will be moved to Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (If there's rain on the 15th, the make up rain date will be June 29.) The event is being hosted by the Mansfield Women's Club.

"All profits will go to the Mansfield Tornado Relief fund through the Mansfield City Hall. We are not receiving any funds from state or federal aid to help our community, said Rhonda Firek, president of the club.
