Man robbed at gunpoint in Covington

A man told Covington police that he was robbed at gunpoint Friday afternoon after giving a ride to two men.

According to reports from the Covington Police Department, the victim told officers that the two males took his driver's license, wallet (containing roughly $600) and Social Security card. They reportedly ran away in the direction of Collier Street.

The first assailant was described as more than 6-feet-tall with red shorts and no shirt. The second man was shorter and had on black pants and no shirt.
