A Covington woman arrived home yesterday evening and found her ex-husband’s car in her driveway and a window in her home broken out. She contacted the Covington Police Department.

After a stand-off that lasted several hours, members of the Covington/Newton County SWAT Team entered the home and found the man dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
