A fight between a woman and her baby's daddy led to his arrest and her with a bite on her hand.

Police were called to a boarding house on Clark Street Thursday afternoon after witnesses called 911 reporting a family fight. When they arrived they could hear a woman inside the apartment screaming "let me go!" according to reports. When the officers went inside they reported it was "apparent that there had been a physical altercation." A remote was broken into several pieces; there was spilled liquid on the kitchen floor and baby food splashed all over the bedroom.

When officers separated the couple and spoke with 20-year-old Ackeme Brown he reportedly admitted that he and his girlfriend had gotten into a fight and that he bit her.
The female told them she had been trying to get in touch with Brown all day so they could go look at a new apartment but he didn't have his cell phone. Eventually she went to look at the apartment without him, which resulted in an argument when they both got home. She told officers the physical altercation started in the kitchen when Brown pushed her into the counter when she wanted to leave the apartment and then bit her.

The 911 caller and another witness spoke with police and allegedly said they both heard a female screaming "don't hit me again!" and "get off me, you're hurting me!" and "the sound of someone getting hit."

Brown was arrested and transported to the Newton County Detention Center where he was charged with Family Violence Act battery, false imprisonment and third degree cruelty to children.
