Instruments of success: Alcovy High School Band recently to announced the winners of a recent drawing held to raise money for a field trip to Orlando, Fla., where the band performed. Frank’s Restaurant Inc. donated a Sanyo 42" plasma television which was the first prize of the drawing. The winner of the television was Ken Ridling (back right). Winners of Frank’s gift certificates were River and Nancy Rutledge (front row) and Laverne Small. Michael Castellana, general manager of Frank’s Restaurant, said, "I would like to encourage small businesses and parents to do what they can to help our children in any way possible, whether it is donating an item or donating your time to help our school system to be a better place for our future, our children and us."
