The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death of a Covington man who reportedly committed suicide in the Walton County Jail.

Myron Edward Kulich, 52, was facing charges of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, sexual battery, statutory rape and enticing a child for indecent purposes. He had been in jail nearly a year when he was found dead Wednesday morning, according to Walton County Sheriff’s Office Captain Greg Hall.

The GBI is investigating Kulich’s death. More information will be released following a formal autopsy.
