Saturday Dec. 10, Elayna Guerrero, age 11, of Covington, played Mary in a Christmas Nativity, called "Bethlehem Live!" in Saint George. Elayna's grandparents, Irene and Randy Williams, organize this outdoor city tour and performance for Building the Body for Christ Ministries.

The live play is a true story about the world's first Christmas and the birth of Jesus Christ. Six hundred visitors experienced the sights and sounds of old Bethlehem as they walked by a bread maker, carpenter, cheese maker and other villagers employing skills used more than 2,000 years ago. Attendees followed the city tour, saw and heard the real Nativity Story according to the Book of Luke.

At the conclusion of the Nativity Story, $800 worth of Bibles were distributed to those without one, as long as supplies lasted. Admission was free and all were welcome. Donations will help the ministry distribute more Bibles in the future.

Building the Body For Christ Ministries is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. Donations are welcomed and tax deductible. All staff and board members are unpaid volunteers. For more information, visit their website www.BBFCM.com or call 912-843-2332.
