Saturday, Nov. 3rd, Community Assistance Relief Effort Inc. (C.A.R.E. Inc.), a non-profit group dedicated to helping people of Porterdale, will host a live auction at the Porterdale Mill Lofts. The event will take place from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

The benefit hopes to "raise monies to help families and senior citizens of Porterdale in times of need and crisis." There will be free refreshments. One donation will get an attendee a bid number and two drink tickets (additional tickets are available). There will also be live entertainment by Phil Thomson.

Organizers promise plenty of great items will be on display for attendees to bid on.
