Convicted murderer Cobey Wade Lakemper was sentenced on Tuesday to life without parole for malice murder in the 2005 death of Wendy Cartledge-Carter.
Lakemper also was sentenced to 25 years to run concurrently and another life sentence in the penalty phase of the trial.
