American Legion Post 32 of Covington held a Memorial Day ceremony on the Covington square. Opening prayer was given by Wayne Hunt, chaplain. Following the Pledge of Allegiance, Gaile Stephens, music teacher at Fairview Elementary School, sang the National Anthem and America the Beautiful.
