KKK recruitment fliers in Newton County

The Newton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating several complaints of Klu Klux Klan recruitment fliers placed in Newton County residents' yards. 

According to a press release issued by the Sheriff's Office, the flyers are being placed inside of plastic bags and left on driveways and lawns.

This case has been assigned to the Newton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation’s Division, which is conducting "a very active investigation by identifying and interviewing witnesses."
