The threat of rain didn't stop the 15th annual JAKES (Juniors Acquiring Knowledge, Ethics and Sportsmanship) Day from continuing at Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center Saturday.

From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. children attended the free event and participate in activities like fishing, mini boat rides, demonstrations, pellet gun and archery shooting and a live snake and birds of prey show.
