GEORGIA - Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief Feeding Unit 11-F which is part of the Stone Mountain Baptist Association in Conyers has been deployed to Savannah. They left at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning from Calvary Baptist Church in Covington. On Thursday, they began serving 2,500 meals, three times a day, to Disaster Relief victims and First Responders along the coast from Tybee Island to Brunswick. 

The second wave of volunteers will leave on Sunday. They are in need of funds to support the operational costs for the local unit.
