GEORGIA - Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief Feeding Unit 11-F which is part of the Stone Mountain Baptist Association in Conyers has been deployed to Savannah. They left at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning from Calvary Baptist Church in Covington. On Thursday, they began serving 2,500 meals, three times a day, to Disaster Relief victims and First Responders along the coast from Tybee Island to Brunswick.

The second wave of volunteers will leave on Sunday. They are in need of funds to support the operational costs for the local unit. Donations can be made online at their website: www.stonemountainbaptistassociation.org. You can also make checks payable to SMBA for Disaster relief and mail to PO Box 911 Conyers, GA 30012.
