An American Cancer Society fundraiser featuring family-friendly games and activities will be held Saturday at the Quad at Oxford College. The event sponsored by the Palmer-Stone/Oxford Cares Relay for Life Team, will feature performances by Jeff Johnson and the Palmer-Stone Chorus. Raffles and a silent auction will begin at 9 a.m., with winners announced at 1 p.m. Food will be available for purchase from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A "round robin" tennis tournament will begin at 9 a.m. The registration fee is $20 and participants must register for this tournament. Runners can participate in a 5-k race or a 1-mile Fun Run. Early registration cost is $10 and race-day registration is $15. Runners ages 12 and younger can participate for $5. Registration will be from 7:30 to 8 a.m. The 5-k race will begin on the Quad at 8:30 a.m., with the Fun Run starting at 9 a.m. There will also be a motorcycle ride at 10 a.m. Registration for this event will begin at 9 a.m. Cost for a single rider is $20 and double riders will be $30.
