Several shotguns and rifles were stolen from Alcovy Pawn and Jewelry before Sunday morning after making a hole in the wall from the church next door.

The Covington Police Department received a burglary call from Jesus and Me Ministries at 7100 Washington Street around 9:04 a.m. Sunday.

According to reports, the complainant said the alarm was going off when he arrived at the church. He then discovered a hole in the bathroom wall going to Alcovy Pawn and Jewelry next door.

The owner and manager of Alcovy Pawn and Jewelry were notified and told police that several long guns were taken. According to reports the manager did not have a list of all the guns but told CPD that she would get a list over to the detective.

CPD then saw video footage of the suspect, a male who was wearing a dark colored jacket with what appeared to be a light colored hoodie under it, light colored jeans, white sneakers and some type of dark sock hat with eye glasses and a bandana covering the lower part of his face.
