Going for Eagle Scout
Placeholder Image

The final steps: High School Senior Nic Walter is trying to educate local residents about the value of the Dried Indian Creek wetlands and pier as part of his Eagle Scout project. He is planning to place signs by the wetlands explaining how the plants filter stormwater runoff and protect the area’s other plant and animal life. In addition, he is planning to place signs on the pier describing and naming the various wetland plants. Walter is the son of Kevin Walter and Jean Fowler.
