A gas leak forced evacuation of businesses near Ga. Highway 138 and Flat Shoals Road Friday morning.
The leak was reported about 10:30 a.m. and the gas was shut off within an hour, according to Rockdale County Fire Department Deputy Chief Mike Lee.
