The Satsuki Garden Club of Covington will present its 17th homes tour, the "Candlelight Christmas Tour,’’ from 1–7 p.m., Dec. 7. Proceeds will benefit club projects, including beautification of the historic square.

Featured on the tour will be: the Watterson’s Federal home, "Highpoint at Chestnut Grove,’’ in Oxford, which features Civil War memorabilia; the Bryan Craftsman home in Covington’s Clark’s Grove; the Showalter Asian fusion home, featuring at least 10 uniquely decorated trees; the Wagner Southern Living home; "Amber Leaf Cottage,’’ showcasing a traditional Christmas; and "Grayborne House,’’ a charming Victorian house that is the home of Covington Mayor Ronnie Johnston and his wife, Kellie.

Also on the tour is Benton House, an assisted living home that will have its own Festival of Trees and will offer hors d’oeuvres, homemade holiday desserts, hot chocolate and tea to tour patrons. And, the Church of the Good Shepherd (across from the Bryan home in Clark’s Grove) will open its Carpenter-Gothic style church for the tour.

Tickets are $20 per person (ages 10 and up). Children under 10 must be accompanied and supervised closely by an adult.
