As the fall season approaches, residents are sure to experience candid events in other counties. Here is a list of what's going on this fall.

Today, Sept. 28 -Oct. 28
Pumpkin Festival at Stone Mountain Park: Activities for this family-friendly event include a pumpkin palooza game show, pumpkin pie eating contests, family scavenger hunts and more. This is a month long event, and the hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and on Fridays and Sundays from 10:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. For more information visit stonemountainpark.com.

Oct. 5 - Oct. 7

Taste of Atlanta: Atlanta's premier food festival is expected to attract at least 45,000 attendees. Residents of the metro and surrounding areas can come out and enjoy the taste of the city's favorite restaurants. For more information, contact (404) 875- 4434.

Oct. 6

Bridgefest in the Pines: The city of Stockbridge is happy to announce their second annual fall festival. This event includes vendors, interactive children's areas and live entertainment. Olde Town Fall Festival: Sponsored by the city of Conyers, and the Conyers Main Street Program, they will host the 32nd annual Olde Town Fall Festival.
