ATLANTA - Fulton County fire officials say firefighters sent to douse an overnight blaze found dozens of suspected marijuana plants growing in the basement.

Fulton fire Battalion Chief Markus Jones says firefighters were sent to the house in south Fulton County early Monday. Jones says there was no one home when the firefighters arrived. He says the signs of a marijuana-growing operation included special lighting.

WSB-TV reports that about 50 plants were found.
