There will be something new in the air — quite literally — in Atlanta beginning July 2.

That’s when SkyView, the city’s new 20-story tall Ferris wheel, is scheduled to begin making the rounds. With 42-climate controlled gondolas — that means no July humidity to contend with — SkyView will offer 15-minute rides, weather permitting, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Each gondola holds up to six riders. Tickets are $8.50 – $13.50.
