Shaping up: Residents resolved to live healthier in 2011 attended the Covington Family Y’s open house Saturday, where instructors helped them meet their fitness goals. From 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., residents toured the Y, used its exercise equipment and participated in a group exercise class. The Y is at 2140 Newton Drive. Classes were offered on the hour and included Zumba, BodyPump, yoga, pilates and cycling. Drawings were held for three-month memberships.
