Addison "Ace" Cook II has been playing golf competitively since age 7. He's also been an accomplished artist for almost as long. Beginning in the fall, he'll take both skills to Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta after signing a letter of intent to join the burgeoning golf program. Cook was part of last year's Region 8-AAA champion golf team and is often considered Eastside's top player. Ace is joined in the signing picture with his brother Adam (far right), father Addison (right) and mother Michelle. Standing behind (from right) are Eastside principal Dennis Rodenberry, SCAD golf coach Wyatt Graff, head boys' coach Jay Cawthon, head girls' coach and assistant boys' Jason Grooms and athletic director and assistant principal Bruce McCollum. SCAD Atlanta compete sin the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. Ace is the first signing in SCAD Atlanta's second recruiting class.
