All Newton County schools will release students early on Friday, Nov. 6 so teachers can participate in professional learning activities.

Elementary and Newton County Theme School at Ficquett students will be dismissed at 11:15 a.m.; high school students will be released at 12:15 p.m. and middle school students will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m.

Lunch will be served before students are dismissed and all students who ride school buses home in the afternoons will be transported to their normal bus stops.

The next holiday for students is scheduled for the week of Nov. 23-27, when all schools will be closed for the Thanksgiving Break.
