Democratic women's federation to meet

The Newton/Rockdale chapter of the Georgia Federation of Democratic Women is holding its spring meeting from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday at Cameron Hall in Conyers, 1035 Green St. S.E.

The group was formed less than two years ago and is dedicated to supporting the Democratic Party and women's participation in the party. The group is installing new officers Saturday, and members will be discussing upcoming events at the state, said member Sarah Todd.

Lunch is $21 per person and tickets are available at the door. For more information about the organization go to gfdw.blogspot.com.
