The Covington Branch of the Newton County Library System opened today after being closed for a week and a half.The Covington library closed Friday, Aug. 14 after an HVAC unit broke. Since the afternoon of Aug. 14 the Porter Memorial Branch extended its hours, to accommodate patrons from the Covington location. Thursday both libraries resumed their normal hours.
