The Newton County Board of Commissioners will hold a budget work session at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Historic Courthouse, 1124 Clark Street, Covington.

The board is trying to bridge a $2.6 million budget gap and, at its last meeting, discussed the possibility of adding fees, raising taxes or cutting services.
