Expect a traffic shift for construction beginning at 10 a.m. on Jan. 12 on Georgia Highway 142 from Wheat Street to Lochridge Boulevard in Covington.

The Georgia Department of Transportation said in a release that Settlers Grove Road at Highway 142 will be closed during the roadwork. You can access Settler's Grove Road from Hazelbrand Road.

Traffic signals will be repositioned at the intersection of Lochridge and Highway 42 during the roadwork.
