Clements Middle School holds winter concert Tues.

The Clements Middle School Music Department will present their annual winter concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the school’s gymnasium.

Students will be performing music celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, as well as other merry tunes of the holiday season.

Community Band holding free holiday concert Monday

The Covington/Newton County Community Band is holding its annual holiday concert Monday evening, and as always, it is totally free of charge.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Eastside High School. The event is sponsored by the James Hyde Porter Trust.
