Hes reading a bill from Capitol Hill

A daunting task: Steve Loyd of Porterdale and his father Jack are reading House Resolution 3200 — the controversial health care reform bill making its way through Congress. Jack called Rep. Jim Marshall’s (GA-8) office a few weeks ago and requested a copy of the bill. A few days later, he found six envelopes in his mailbox contain the pages of the entire bill. The document is more than 1,000 pages with the summary spanning 158 of those pages, and stacks almost 5 inches high. The text of the bill can be read and commented on online at www.opencongress.org.
