Christmas light tour: Social Circle
Placeholder Image
The Covington News is looking for suggestions on which houses in the area are all dressed up for the holidays and worth a drive to see.
Here's a suggestion from columnist Beth Rowe.
This house is on the corner of Dogwood and East Hightower Trail in Social Circle. It is a two-story house with guest quarters in back that are also decorated in lights. Beth says to be sure to check out the huge tree on the back side covered in lights.
The house is the former home of chef Natalie Dupree.
To get there from Covington, take I-20 east to the Social Circle/Mansfield exit ramp. Turn left on Georgia Highway 11 and go north about 3 miles into the town. Turn right at the traffic light onto Hightower Trail. It is the second house on the right past the Social Circle Fire Station.
