For the first time in Covington, citizens will have a chance to purchase local deals at a steep discount. Through the power of group buying, social media and word of mouth, readers of Covnews.com will be offered a new deal each day of the work week using our new CashCache site.
How it works
A new deal will be available each morning at 8 a.m. with a set tipping point for the deal to activate. So what does that mean for you? Once 10 deals are purchased, customers will be sent an e-mail with their deal and will be charged for the purchase. If the deal does not hit the tipping point, it will not activate and anyone who purchased the deal will not be charged. The tipping point will generally be around 10 deals sold.
So what are the deals?
Every CashCache deal will offer at least a 50% discount on products of services around the area. Generally, there will be an unlimited amount of deals to be sold until midnight on the day of the deal. The deal will be sent to your e-mail where you can print it out and use it that day. Some deals may have an expiration date that will be displayed before your purchase.
The power of social media
Each deal on CashCache can be easily shared with friends using the social media buttons located in the top right corner of a deal page. Simply click on the Facebook, Twitter, or e-mail buttons to quickly alert your friends of the deal. The more people who know about the deal, the faster the deal will activate. This could also be particularly helpful if you wanted to organize a group outing with friends or family. Customers can also sign up for daily e-mail alerts notifying them of the newest deals.
