In conjunction with the third concert of the Second Friday Night Summer Concert Series, Main Street Covington and the Arts Association in Newton County are excited to focus the Buy Local initiative on Buy Local Arts.

The concert, Brooks Honeycutt and Friends, a local blues artist, will begin at 7 p.m. on the square in downtown Covington. Newton County arts businesses will have information tables set up at the concert to educate concert-goers and citizens about the arts products and services available right here in Newton County. The following Newton County arts businesses will be participating: B.B. Fuzz in Porterdale, Harris Band Instruments, Heavenly Dance Steps, Kids IN Step, Mainstream Dance, McKibben Music, Picasso Playhouse, Southern Heartland Art Gallery and Van Gogh Gallery with Heartscapes Studio Gallery and Custom Framing.

In addition, the Arts Association in Newton County office will also have a table with information about upcoming concerts, auditions, and Young Artists Programs.
