Dr. Michael Pulliam has been helping Covington residents see better for 30 years. The namesake of the Pulliam Eye Group is only one of a group of eye specialists who provide services in a wide variety of fields.

Pulliam provides comprehensive eye examinations for eyeglasses and contact lenses for adults and children as young as 10 years old, cataract evaluations and surgery, eyeglass fitting and adjusting by opticians, and diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and macular degeneration, as well as various other eye conditions such as blepharitis, conjunctivitis and uveitis, to name a few.

Pulliam performs cataract surgeries, eyelid surgeries and various other surgeries related to the anterior segment of the eye.

Dr. Nazir Khawaja is a board certified ophthalmologist who has completed post-graduate training residencies in Pakistan and Nigeria. Khawaja specializes in performing comprehensive eye examinations and minor surgeries related to the eye.

Dr. Timothy Olsen is a retinal specialist from Emory in Atlanta who sees patients at the Covington location every other Tuesday. As a member of the Vitreoretinal Surgery & Disease service at Emory Eye Center, Olsen’s clinical expertise is in age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, complex retinal detachment surgery, and pediatric retinal disorders.

Dr. Jaymini Nayee is an optometrist who specializes in prescribing and fitting eye-glasses and contact lenses as well as performing the pre-operative and post-operative work for cataract surgery.
