China Wing, a new Chinese restaurant located in Porterdale, is set to open this weekend. The location previously housed another local business when the restaurant owner Mr. Lee decided to renovate the building costing him nearly $50,000. Lee previously had a location in Madison County.

However, after a friend’s suggestion to relocate, Lee moved his restaurant to Porterdale.

The 2,000 square-foot restaurant has ample room for patrons to allow enjoy their favorite traditional Chinese dishes for lunch and dinner.

Richard Shin, architect for China Wing, believes the new location is easily accessible to residents. He was involved in the development of the design and architectural plan.

"It’s a very good location. It’s not far, and its not expensive. It’s a typical Chinese restaurant, " Shin said.

The resident will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, call (678) 712-6737.
