PORTERDALE, Ga. - The Covington/Newton Chamber of Commerce's Seventh Annual Taste of Newton event was a success Friday morning in the historic Porter Memorial Gymnasium, located at 2201 Main Street in Porterdale.

Businesses and restaurants from all over the county provided samplings - ranging from barbeque to funnel cakes - to residents.
