COVINGTON, Ga. - Ron Carter, of the tourism division of the Covington/Newton Chamber of Commerce, presented Connie Waller, of Satsuki Garden Club, a check to assist with marketing the club’s upcoming Candlelight Christmas Home Tour. 

“We receive calls throughout the year from individuals interested in home tours," Carter said. "This is a wonderful way to showcase the beauty of Covington and Newton County while bringing guests to eat in our restaurants and shop in our stores." 

The Satsuki Garden Club hosts its tour every other year.  The tour brings hundreds of participants, local residents and visitors, alike.  Scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m.  Thursday, Dec. 5, Satsuki’s tour is the perfect opportunity for the tourism division to partner with a local organization to market our community.
