An Alcovy High School student was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged with sexually molesting three boys.

Zane Michael Stodghill, 17, is currently being held with no bond at the Newton County Jail on charges of aggravated child molestation and aggravated sexual battery sodomy.

The three victims are brothers, but are not related to Stodghill. They are, however, known to the teen.

According to Newton County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Cortney Morrison, the three victims, who are ages 7, 9 and 9, made an outcry to a caregiver. They alleged they were assaulted by Stodghill from November 1, 2012, to mid-July of this year on multiple instances.

The caregiver notified the children’s parents, who took the victims to a hospital and called authorities. All three boys were given forensic interviews, in which they reportedly told of the abuse at the hands of Stodghill.
