The Porterdale Police Department made a meth bust Friday, netting approximately $8,000 of methamphetamine, according to Porterdale City Manager Bob Thomson.

The individual, whose name has not yet been released, was observed by police and then pulled over at Riverfront Road late Friday afternoon and arrested, Thomson said in an email.

Investigator Doug Clifton said Friday that the investigation is ongoing and that he would provide details Monday.
