The Newton County Sheriff’s Office received its first check for the 2013 Toy Run. ESG Operations of Macon donated a check for $200. Paul Tickerhoof, a representative of ESG Operations, presented the check to NCSO Sheriff Ezell Brown. The Sheriff’s Office also received the donation of a 2003 Ford Ranger Extended Cab 4x4 from Sellars Motors. The truck is being raffled off at the Toy Run. Raffle tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling the Newton County Sheriff’s Office, 678-625-1400. The 15th Annual Toy Run Motorcycle Ride will be held beginning at 9 a.m. Dec. 14, at the Covington Kmart.
