MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) — A pastor and his wife have filed a lawsuit after a mix-up led to police pulling them over and drawing their guns.

Frank Johnson and his wife, Pamela, were driving home in a Chevrolet Camaro in January 2012 when police pulled them over. WSB-TV Thursday reported (http://bit.ly/ZaEG72) the couple had just bought the car from John Thornton Chevrolet and the manager's wife called police saying she thought the car — which had a temporary tag in the back window — was stolen. After the Johnsons pulled over, police pulled their weapons and ordered them to the ground.

Cobb County police say they acted appropriately based on information they were given. A statement from the dealership says the dealership and manager are not responsible for the way police investigated the incident.
