ATLANTA (AP) — It's a cold morning in North Georgia.

Temperatures were below freezing Wednesday morning across most of north and central Georgia. The coldest temperatures were expected in the North Georgia mountains.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said they expected wind chill temperatures in the low to mid 20s.

A freeze warning will remain in effect until mid-morning Wednesday.
