ATLANTA (AP) — A group of protesters staged a demonstration in the state Capitol outside Gov. Nathan Deal's swearing-in ceremony.

Local media reported that the group gathered Monday afternoon to protest police brutality, to call for the expansion of the state's Medicaid system and more resources for homeless children.

Georgia Department of Public Safety officials say no arrests were made.
